“The motion was taken beneath the supervision of District Excise Officer Subodh Kumar Srivastava. On the idea of a tip-off, a raid was performed round midnight on the spot by a crew led by Excise Inspector Chandra Shekhar Singh and 4 employees arrested for illegally serving alcohol with out having a liquor licence,” an official mentioned.

The excise inspector mentioned the raid was performed round midnight and arrests have been made within the early hours of Monday after preliminary investigation and seizures on the spot.
“As many as 233 bottles of various liquors have been seized from the spot. These liquors have been meant on the market in Haryana however are being illegally served right here in violation of legal guidelines of Uttar Pradesh,” Mr Singh mentioned.
