US Ex Envoy Amongst Candidates In BJP’s Newest Record For Lok Sabha Polls

The BJP on Saturday named its candidates for 11 extra Lok Sabha constituencies, fielding a variety of leaders who joined it from completely different events lately resembling Bhartruhari Mahtab, Ravneet Singh Bittu, Sushil Kumar Rinku and Preneet Kaur.

Veteran parliamentarian Mahtab, who give up the BJD lately, will contest from Cuttack, Bittu from Ludhiana, Kaur from Patiala, and Rinku from Jalandhar, a seat reserved for SCs.

Each Bittu, the grandson of former Punjab chief minister Beant Singh, and Kaur, the spouse of former Punjab CM Amarinder Singh, have been within the Congress earlier than becoming a member of the BJP, whereas Rinku was within the Aam Aadmi Occasion.

The BJP on Sunday named two candidates from West Bengal, three from Odisha and 6 from Punjab.

It has to date introduced its candidates for 411 seats.
